Monique Davaul, a 30-year-old mom from Newport News, Virginia, experienced the incredible joy of welcoming fraternal triplets into her family. On April 12, at Riverside Regional Medical Center, Monique gave birth to three beautiful babies: Jihad, Mielle, and Noelle.
This special arrival came after Monique had previously given birth to twins, making her a proud mother of six children.
The journey to motherhood was not without its challenges. After discovering her pregnancy during the planning of her 30th birthday party, Monique initially didn’t anticipate having triplets.
However, a doctor’s visit confirmed the unexpected news, prompting her to share the exciting update with a co-worker who had jokingly suggested the possibility of twins or even triplets.

Adjusting her plans, Monique transformed her birthday celebration into a “gender reveal” party, announcing the arrival of her triple blessings.
The triplets spent a few weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Riverside Regional Medical Center. However, their progress was remarkable, and they were discharged in time for Mother’s Day.
Jihad and Mielle were released earlier in the month, while Noelle joined her siblings at home on Friday, creating a joyous atmosphere for the special occasion.

The staff at Riverside Regional Medical Center was delighted to be part of this extraordinary journey. The delivery of triplets was a rarity for the hospital, with the last occurrence dating back to 2018.
