According to the police, on Sunday night, a man fell to his death from a luxury apartment building in Manhattan. He landed on the roof of a neighboring building at 154 E 85th St. in the Upper East Side. Emergency services pronounced him dead at the scene.

Police noted that his injuries were consistent with a fall, and the official cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner. It is believed that the man fell from the 15-story condo building located at 150 E 85th St. and landed on the roof of the adjacent, shorter structure.
The luxury condo building where the incident occurred is known as The Ventana. It features million-dollar units and provides amenities such as a 24-hour doorman, a renovated lobby, elevators, a fitness room, and laundry facilities on every two floors, as stated in a real estate listing.
As of Sunday night, the police had not disclosed the identity of the deceased individual, as they were in the process of notifying the family members.
Investigators have indicated that they do not suspect any criminal involvement in the man’s death.
