A high school senior from Forest and her friend have gained viral attention on TikTok after her car unexpectedly burst into flames just before her graduation ceremony over the weekend.
Raziah Stanley, who submitted photos of the blazing car along with a snapshot of herself in cap and gown, shared the incident with WSET, saying, “My car blew up on the way to graduation.”

In a TikTok video titled “happy graduation day!!” posted by Stanley’s friend, Norah Tyree, the shocking moment unfolds. Tyree notices the issue with the car and asks Stanley, “Um, I think something’s wrong with your car?”
With a straight face, Stanley replies, “Oh no, it just does that sometimes.”
In the background, the car can be seen engulfed in flames, billowing smoke.

In the comment section, Tyree shared that both she and Stanley managed to make it to graduation on time despite the unforeseen incident.

Firefighters stated that they suspect an electrical short as the cause of the fire, but due to extensive damage, a complete assessment couldn’t be made.
