Tamiris Muzini and Douglas Vieira Robert, a Brazilian couple, just got married in a beautiful ceremony. But an uninvited guest made the event even better than they thought it would be. During the wedding, a stray dog sat by the church door and greeted the guests as they came in.
Even after everyone was sitting down, he stood by the door until the wedding was over. The friendly dog moved the couple and their guests, and after the ceremony, Muzini and Robert decided to take him in. He is now called Braiá Caramelo de Jesus, and Bored Panda says he loves his new home.
At first, the dog sat by the door while the wedding planner for the couple tried to line up the groomsmen for the ceremony. The dog had to be moved out of the way so that the bride could come in. She was surprised that the dog had found his way to the car where the bride was riding. He stayed right next to her in the car until she got out. He even followed her all the way to the church doors and waited there until the bride and groom left (despite several attempts to get him to leave). Muzini thought this was very strange.
During the ceremony, the person in charge of the wedding found out that one of his paws was hurt. Still, when the couple was leaving the church, the dog wanted to play with them. She said, “He did something he hadn’t done with anyone before, he got to his feet and tried to greet the bride and groom,” she explained. “That’s when the bride said to me, ‘I want to adopt him, he’s amazing.’ But at that moment, there was nothing I could do because I had a contract to follow and everyone went to celebrate the wedding. Our hearts were in love with the puppy.”
First, the couple and the person who was planning their wedding tried to find the dog’s owner. They put out several calls on social media, but it was clear that the dog was a stray. They couldn’t stop thinking about him, so they decided to take him in and give him the name Braiá Caramelo de Jesus. They took him right away to the vet to get medicine and fix his broken paw. While the happy couple is on their honeymoon, he is staying with the bride’s mother.
