As his UK tour came to an end in Edinburgh, Sir Rod Stewart stunned his audience by inviting his 94-year-old sister Mary on stage.
The 78-year-old performer chose to stage his sister during his 1975 song Sailing while he was in the Scottish capital last week.
Sir Rod is seen performing in a fan’s video wearing a black sequined jacket over a black shirt with white stripes.
Then, his sister Mary comes up to him and puts a white sailor hat with a black peak on his head.
He said: ‘This is my sister! 94!’

Mary stood with her arm around her younger brother, waving to the audience.
The artist later told the Mirror that visiting Edinburgh with his sister was a thrill, saying, “She has and continues to teach me about life.”
The youngest of Robert Stewart and Elsie Gilbart’s children, Sir Rod was born in London; his two brothers and two sisters were all born in Scotland.
Last year, at the ages of 94 and 88, respectively, his older brothers Don and Bob passed away.
In November last year, Sir Rod said: “It’s with great sadness that I announce the loss of my brother Bob last night, who joins my brother Don on the great football pitch in the sky.”
“I’ve lost two of my best mates in two months.”
Peggy, his older sister, passed away from multiple sclerosis in 1975 at the age of 40.
