Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively were seen posing for family photos on the pitch at Wrexham, including a young baby who is believed to be their fourth child.
The Hollywood power couple had announced in February that they were now proud parents again, without revealing the gender or name of the new addition.
The sighting of the family at the Wrexham pitch, where Reynolds’ team was playing York in the Vanarama National League, delighted their fans.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were captured in heartwarming family photos with their fourth child, a young baby, at the Wrexham pitch.
The Hollywood couple, who announced the new addition to their family in February, were all smiles as they posed alongside their first three children – James, eight, Betty, six, and Inez, three – at the match between Reynolds’ team Wrexham and York in the Vanarama National League.
Ryan gently held the baby while Blake beamed with joy. The family later posed together for a photo. The presence of their children proved to be a good luck charm as Ryan’s team won the match 3-0, securing three crucial points to remain at the top of the table.
In February, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively revealed the birth of their fourth child, although they didn’t disclose the gender or name. In a humorous interview on CNBC’s Power Lunch, Ryan joked that his home had become a “zoo” but emphasized that everyone was doing fantastic.
When asked about the baby’s gender, Ryan declined to answer, saying that their social media post was not a birth announcement. Last year, Ryan announced that he had bought Wrexham, a Welsh football team, with actor Rob McElhenney, and Blake was initially unhappy with the news.
However, she has since been seen supporting the team, including watching them play at Wembley Stadium in London. It is unclear whether she has attended a match at the club’s home ground in Wrexham, North Wales.
During a recent match, Ryan and Blake posed for family photos with their newborn and three other children, bringing their fans much joy. Ryan’s team won the game, and his children were thought to be the lucky charm.
Club co-owner Rob McElhenney was also captured arriving at the match ahead of kick-off. The Hollywood duo purchased the Wrexham football club in 2020, successfully bringing the once struggling club back into the limelight.
The team made it to the 2022 Wembley final and finished second in the National League, narrowly missing out on promotion. In their latest match, Wrexham faced off against York City, battling to secure their promotion back to the football league.
Currently, the Welsh side holds the top spot on the table with 94 points, three ahead of Notts County in second. The pair are also committed to supporting women’s football and announced their attendance at the Wrexham ladies team’s upcoming match against local rivals Connah’s Quay Nomads.
Over 7,000 fans have already bought tickets for the game, setting a new record. McElhenney and Reynolds are bankrolling the women’s football team at Wrexham with the goal of making it semi-professional.
By selling tickets at just £1 each, the pair were instrumental in achieving a record crowd of over 7,000 fans for the Wrexham ladies team’s match against Connah’s Quay Nomads. This surpassed the previous record in Wales of 5,175 for Cardiff City Women.
In addition to their efforts to boost the women’s team, the co-owners of Wrexham AFC are set to feature the rise of the team in their Welcome to Wrexham TV series. They are expected to discuss their ongoing efforts to turn around the fortunes of the Welsh club.
A spokesperson for Wrexham AFC said: ‘The decision to allow the players to become semi-professional, is to provide them the best chance of being successful and help the Club achieve its objective of becoming the best women’s team in Wales, in the shortest period, practically possible.’
