Reports have emerged that aliens with a penchant for “face eating” are causing distress among the inhabitants of a quaint Peruvian village. This unsettling phenomenon has prompted an inquiry by the Peruvian National Police (PNP) and the Peruvian army.
Referred to as ‘Los Pelacaras’ or ‘The Face Peelers,’ these beings, reportedly standing at an imposing seven feet in height, have become the subject of accounts emerging from the serene community of Loreto over the past week, as reported by La Republica.
“I have found him face to face, he hides his face. I’ve seen the whole body floating. He moves his arms, everything is normal,” said one eyewitness.
Members of the Ikitu tribe, who are the witnesses in this case, have been consistently reporting these sightings since July 11.
During one of these encounters, the situation escalated to a physical confrontation when an ‘alien’ reportedly attacked a 15-year-old girl. Miraculously, she narrowly managed to escape the encounter with her life intact.
“As a result of the struggle, they cut part of her neck,” stated Jairo Reátegui Dávila, a prominent local community leader.
Residents of the area have revealed that due to the fear of impending attacks, they are finding it impossible to sleep. This apprehension has prompted them to establish their own community watch groups, ensuring continuous vigilance over the village throughout the night, with the specific intent of safeguarding “women, children, and the vulnerable.”
Photographs depict community members with bandaged heads, seeking assistance.
While authorities are presently engaged in investigating the situation, receiving effective aid might prove to be a challenge.
The Peruvian village is situated in such an isolated and remote location that it requires a lengthy 10-hour riverboat journey for anyone from the nearby city of Iquitos to reach it. However, this distance has not deterred the community from seeking assistance and intervention.
“We need support for our community. The children do not sleep and the mothers stay up all night. They appear to be armored. I shot one of them twice and he wasn’t injured, he rose and disappeared,” Dávila said.
While experts in the field of UFOology suggest that such accounts are not uncommon in the Amazon region, the local Peruvian villagers are treating the reports of the face-eating aliens with utmost seriousness.
At this point, authorities have not arrived at a conclusive judgment regarding the authenticity of the reports. The possibilities include whether these accounts are based on actual events, woven into the fabric of local folklore, or perhaps an elaborate hoax.
