Owner of NYC’s top restaurant Balthazar bans ‘bully’ Late Late Show host James Corden

James Corden has been dubbed a “tiny cretin of a man” and barred from the famed New York Balthazar restaurant by the proprietor, who claims he is the “most abusive customer ever.”

Keith McNally, a fiery restaurateur, has barred the Late Late Show host from his restaurants due to his abuse of employees.

Tony Award recipient Corden, who earns $36 million per year, rose to prominence in the United States because to his cheeky British humor on the smash CBS show.

McNally, who has a colorful history of booting celebrities out of his expensive restaurants, alleges Corden acted similarly at his former eatery, Cafe Luxembourg, on many occasions, leaving one waitress “shaken.”

On his Instagram feed, he posted two distinct incidents of Corden’s ‘very rude’ behavior at the French brasserie in New York’s Soho district.

The restaurant, pictured on Monday, is a popular spot for celebrities, tourists and locals alike – everyone from Anna Wintour to Sienna Miller has eaten at Balthazar

The 71-year-old began his tweet by calling the comic a “hugely gifted comedian,” before going on to criticize his fellow Brit, who often eats meals with celebrities as part of a game on the show.

The stunning charges come only months after the ‘Into the Woods’ star announced his departure from the late-night talk show in 2023.

The enraged owner said he ’86’d’ the actor – which implies you’ve been banned – and claims Corden discovered a hair in his main dish while dining there in June, before demanding free drinks as a result of the error.

Being 86’d is claimed to have started at the Greenwich Village speakeasy bar Chumley’s on 86 Bedford Street, which had no address on the door – with patrons ’86ing’ themselves out if there was any difficulty.

He said: ‘After eating his main course, Corden showed the hair to Balthazar manager G. who was very apologetic.

‘Corden was extremely nasty to G, and said: ‘Get us another round of drinks this second. And also take care of all of our drinks so far. This way I write any nasty reviews in yelp or anything like that.”

In a second incident McNally claims that Corden was dining with his wife, Julia Carey, at the eatery on October 9 for brunch.

He says that Corden asked for a table outside, and Carey ordered an egg yolk omelet with a salad.

The couple complained to the server that there was ‘a little bit of egg white mixed with the egg yolk’  and sent the dish back.

McNally added: ‘The kitchen remade the dish but unfortunately sent it with home fries instead of salad.

‘That’s when James Corden began yelling like crazy to the server: ‘You can’t do your job! You can’t do your job! Maybe I should go into the kitchen and cook the omelet myself!’
