The title for the video reads, “Gotham has Batman. Metropolis has Superman. Wakanda has Black Panther. And South Hill, Virginia has C.B. Fleming.”
The neighborhood youngsters still refer to Corporal C.B. Fleming as Batman despite the fact that he does not prowl the city in a black cape and mask or need a utility belt full of amazing devices to attract attention.

A truly remarkable person
Fleming, who is 42 years old, is well-known in South Hill, Virginia, especially among children.
The name of this officer went viral because of a gas leak. In the afternoon, he made sure the kids were safe. And that’s when they started calling him by the cute name.

After receiving a call from dispatch a week ago, Fleming and a few other emergency personnel made their way to the residence of Iesha Roper-Boswell. After making certain that the residence was secure, he then began talking to Roper-Boswell.
The mom, who was only 28 years old at the time, eventually confided in Fleming that her daughter, her niece, and the other children in the area were terrified of the police.

Following that discussion, Fleming went down on the sidewalk next to the children and played with them for a while. The kids’ reactions revealed that they were both shocked and pleased to have a new friend to play with. One person in a uniform!

Roper-Boswell made sure that she preserved the touching moment by filming it quickly with her phone so that she could see it later. It is a video that has received a significant number of views, not only on Facebook, but also on YouTube.

The father of six children
Fleming is a parent to six children altogether: four of his own biological offspring and two adopted children. He has spent the past 15 years working as a police officer at the South Hill Police Department in Virginia, and one of his life’s priorities has always been to make a constructive contribution to the community in which he lives.
Fleming shared: “It’s something I’ve always tried to do. When I got into this job, I knew there was something different, other than just writing tickets and being the bad person all the time. I figured if I could be that bright spot in someone’s day then that’s all that mattered.”

Fleming does not require a flashy sign or a suit that draws attention to himself. In point of fact, he wears the same uniform as the rest of his coworkers, but what truly sets him apart is the manner in which he approaches both his work and the people around him.
He is deserving of each and every compliment.

And it is true that he takes pleasure in engaging with the children. He genuinely cares for the children in the area, and it’s not an act or a front. Because of his efforts, the children adore him.
In the video that can be found below, Officer Fleming can be seen interacting with several children. Indeed, he embodies the definition of the word “hero.”
