This mother is a genuine hero and an incredible example of leadership to her pre-teen daughter. She has just performed an important service for parents all across the world.
“This is what a predator looks like.”
These statements were spoken by a mother who was understandably irritated by a man who she claimed was watching her daughter, who was 12 years old, change clothes in the dressing room of Rue 21 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
After locating the man with the assistance of some passers-by, Doris, the child’s mother, took the video herself.
You can hear Doris explaining what happened while she is recording it on the video.
“I caught this guy underneath my daughter’s stall while she was changing at Rue 21…and I had to chase him all the way down. Thankfully I got him. Not today buddy…not today.”
Doris had only moments ago left her kid in order to retrieve another thing.
Upon her return, she discovered the man laying on his back underneath the changing stall in an attempt to film her daughter.
She was adamant that this should never, under any circumstances, take place with any other young lady.
“I’m going to make sure your face gets out so that you’re not in any more stalls looking under little girls dressing.”
He turned his face away from her and declined to look at her.
“I’m going to make sure you go viral.”
This mother grizzly makes it clear to the man how she truly feels about him. As she continues her dialog with him, about her daughter, she becomes increasingly more emotional.
She asks him a few really critical questions, but he does not respond to her inquiries.
“A 12-year-old girl? That’s what she gets for her birthday? It’s her birthday in two days …Do you have kids?”
The mother keeps filming and eventually points the camera at herself. She appears to be extremely shaken and upset as a result of what has just taken place involving both her and her daughter.
For a mother to be able to see something terrible happen to her child and yet have the strength to go after the person responsible. That shows how strong a mother she is.
The individual was being held at the location when the police were summoned. Later, it was confirmed that he was Jorge Leon-Alfaro, age 36.
