Despite being aware that she was not permitted to touch the dog’s food, Lilyana went ahead and did it anyway. However, her narrative of events was quite divergent.
It’s a common understanding that children enjoy engaging in activities that are forbidden, and Lilyana is no exception to this rule. One doesn’t need to be a child psychologist to realize this.
Each time Lilyana’s parents would pour out food for their dog Jude, she would attempt to grab some for herself. When they first caught her doing so, they gently explained that the food was meant only for Jude and not for humans. However, the little girl refused to believe them as the food appeared tempting to her.
In moments when her parents were not watching, Lilyana would make attempts to acquire some of that appetizing dog food. She presumed that since Jude adored it, it must be delectable.
However, the dog always managed to alert the parents whenever Lilyana would try to sneak a bite. One day, as she was physically caught picking up the dog’s food, she had no option but to admit to breaking the rules, or at least that’s what the parents assumed.
Despite the parents witnessing Lilyana’s actions of touching the dog food, she persisted in denying any wrongdoing.
“Yes, you did touch the food,” Lilyana’s mom stated.
“Nnnnnnnnno, I didn’t touch the food,” Lilyana replied.
Following further exchanges like this, the mother attempted a new approach. She inquired, “Were you playing in Jude’s food?”
Still, Lilyana replied with more, “Nnnnooo, I did not touch the food,” statements.
Before long, Lilyana’s mother found herself unable to contain her laughter. Although Lilyana was in trouble, she was managing to charm her way out of it!
Next, Lilyana’s father supported the mother’s argument. Despite Lilyana’s denials, she had indeed been touching Jude’s food.
The father instructed Lilyana not to shout at him. Predictably, this only caused Lilyana to raise her voice even more.
Lilyana’s mother had been recording the argument until that moment. However, she ended the video there, realizing that there was no prospect of a resolution.
