Celebrating their first year as husband and wife, Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams commemorated the milestone with heartfelt tributes on their individual Instagram accounts.
On their wedding day, the “Love Island USA” host posted a picture and expressed, “One year married to you flew by in a blink of an eye. You’re my HUSBAND.
My best friend. My true north.” She continued, “I love you more than words can say and every day is the best day when I’m with you. Marriage is most fun I’ve ever had because I get to be married to you 💋.”
In a separate post, the “Bachelor in Paradise” bartender Wells Adams conveyed, “Happy first anniversary to my perfect wife. I love you more. Plus one. Anything you say.”
The couple tied the knot at Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, Calif., on August 20, 2022, after being engaged for over three years. Their wedding was attended by several of Hyland’s “Modern Family” co-stars, including Sofía Vergara, Julie Bowen, Nolan Gould, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who officiated the ceremony. Celebrity makeup artist Denika Bedrossian and Charlotte Tilbury collaborated to create Hyland’s timeless bridal look. The actress dazzled in two Vera Wang wedding dresses for the ceremony and reception.
Initially set to marry in August 2020, their plans were postponed twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Adams humorously mentioned considering a Vegas or courthouse wedding if their 2022 plans were to falter, stating, “2022 has got to be our year, right?!”
