Mark Zuckerberg, the entrepreneur and CEO of Meta, has announced the arrival of his and Priscilla Chan’s third daughter. The couple welcomed their baby girl on Friday, and Zuckerberg took to Instagram to share the happy news with his followers.
In the heartwarming post, Zuckerberg shared a sweet photo of himself looking at his adorable newborn daughter and wrote, “Welcome to the world, Aurelia Chan Zuckerberg! You’re such a little blessing.” The post also included a second photo of Priscilla holding their daughter as she peacefully lay on her chest.
This is the couple’s third child, and they already share two daughters together, Maxima Chan Zuckerberg, 7, and August Chan Zuckerberg, 5. The Facebook founder met his wife at a college party where he was waiting outside a bathroom. After falling in love with Priscilla, Zuckerberg moved in with her in 2010 and later tied the knot in a super private wedding ceremony.
Despite the fact that the wedding was kept under wraps, a guest told PEOPLE that it was “really cute” and that “naturally, people were surprised but happy.” Priscilla also spoke about the wedding, saying, “He was this nerdy guy who was just a little bit out there. I remember he had these beer glasses that said ‘pound include beer dot H.’ It’s a tag for C++. It’s like college humor but with a nerdy, computer-science appeal.”
Since then, the couple has welcomed two daughters before their most recent addition, Aurelia. Last year in September, Mark announced on Instagram that Priscilla was pregnant with their third child, writing, “Lots of love. Happy to share that Max and August are getting a new baby sister next year!” Now, the family is overjoyed to welcome their new little one into the world.
