Jacklyn Zeman, renowned for her portrayal of Bobbie Spencer on “General Hospital” for over four decades, has sadly passed away.
Frank Valentini, the executive producer of ‘GH,’ shared the heartbreaking news on Wednesday, expressing his deep sorrow over the loss. He described Zeman as a radiant presence and a consummate professional, likening her to her iconic character and acknowledging the immense positivity she brought to the set.

Valentini continues, “Jackie will be greatly missed, but her positive spirit will always live on with our cast and crew. We send our heartfelt sympathy to her loved ones, friends, and family, especially her daughters Cassidy and Lacey.”

Having become an integral part of the series since 1977, Zeman had a longstanding presence on the show. In addition to her notable role on “General Hospital,” she made notable television appearances, including on “Chicago Hope.” Zeman’s remarkable contribution to the soap opera includes an impressive credit of over 850 episodes. The details surrounding her passing remain uncertain at this time.
She was 70 years old.
