Hollywood relationships don’t often endure very long. Celebrity romances and marriage come and go frequently.
However, nobody linked that to Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn since they are still in love after nearby 40 years of marriage.
These two are the picture of love in Hollywood… So how can they maintain their spark after 37 years of marriage? In shedding some light on their romance, Goldie Hawn said that Kurt “makes her feel beautiful.”
In an interview with People Magazine, the 74-year-old Oscar winner said: “The other night we were going to go have dinner. He looks at me and goes, ‘You’re unbelievable,’”
“‘He said I cannot believe how [beautiful] you look.’ He really appreciates that.”
Hawn participated in the interview along with her daughter Kate Hudson and her infant granddaughter Rani Rose.
The long-lasting connection between her mother and Hudson, the star of movies like Almost Famous and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, serves as an example for her and other people in the industry.
Hudson confided: “Sometimes I look at it and I’m like, How do you guys do it?’. I’m still working on that.”
“Just the fact that they’ve been able to maintain a unit for all of us, in times of turmoil, they really are the center of all of our lives.”
Despite having been together for 37 years, the couple has never been legally wed because they don’t feel the need to.
Goldie said: “We have done just perfectly without marrying. I already feel devoted, and isn’t that what marriage is supposed to do?”
“So as long as my emotional state is in a state of devotion, honesty, caring, and loving, then we’re fine. I like waking up every day and seeing that he is there and knowing that I have a choice. There is really no reason to marry.”
They seldom appear on screen together, although they co-starred in a few movies in the 1980s, notably the romantic comedy Overboard.
With roles in movies like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and the Fast and the Furious series, Kurt is still in demand as an actor. While Hawn has mostly stopped acting on the screen.
In The Christmas Chronicles, the two actors returned to reprise their roles as Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus. The two are expected to reunite in a sequel that is now being made.
