It should be pretty clear that lighting a cigarette while near combustible liquids or gases is probably not a great idea.
It would be so simple for a small amount of ash or a single spark to ignite the fuel and ignite the volatile vapors in the air or the gas pumps, converting the entire area into a raging inferno.
Since it’s actually not complicated, almost every petrol station in the world has a few “No Smoking” signs posted all over the area.
The young man in the video below either failed to notice the warnings or chose to disregard them.

A second customer simply begins filling up his car on the left side, possibly trying to leave before things deteriorate further.
A short while later, one of the gas station employees enters the frame.

The gas station staff reportedly repeatedly urged the guy to put out his cigarette, according to Caters Clips.
The worker then made the decision to act on his own when the man refused to listen.
He quickly crossed the station, picked up a fire extinguisher, and placed it behind the smoker’s vehicle.

Finally, the gas station employee lets loose, allowing us to taste the wonderful taste of justice.
He fires the extinguisher at the smoker, fully engulfing him and his vehicle in a white mist.
The spray is so thick that the car is no longer even visible in the video stream!

It’s still foolish and against the law to smoke near gas pumps, and this guy really should know better, even if modern gas stations are far safer than they ever were and the risks of a fire or explosion are very low.
