Cattle wandering off from the herd is a common occurrence, but sometimes they end up in unexpected places, making it a huge ordeal to get them back. This was the case for a cow that had somehow ended up in the middle of a lake with no way back to shore.

It remains a mystery how the cow ended up so deep in the water, but what was important was getting it out. However, this was easier said than done, as cows can weigh up to 720 kilograms, making it difficult to help them out of the water.

To rescue the cow, a group of friends decided to escort it back to shore by getting a rope around its neck and guiding it from a boat. However, they soon realized that the rope made it harder for the cow to lift its head above the water.

So, they changed their plan, with one friend getting into the water to swim alongside the cow and hold its head above the water, while the others supported it from the boat. With all hands on deck, they sailed back to the nearest shore and finally managed to get the cow to safety.

Despite being scared and confused, the cow made it back to dry land and eventually calmed down after the rescuers removed the rope from its head. In its confusion, the cow even tried to headbutt some of its rescuers, but it soon realized they had saved it.

The group of friends deserve credit for their heroic efforts to rescue the stranded bovine, and while the cow had one heck of a day, it was able to go back to grazing wherever it wanted.
