The fact that these kids never gave up on each other was very important. They were the ones who let the smart police know that something was wrong.
These siblings saved each other.
On their way to school, four siblings, aged 5 to 11, were abducted by force; however, two nimble police officers intervened to rescue the day.

The youngest child is taken first.
The only video of the crime was captured by a nearby Ring camera, which captured the kidnapping.
The woman is screaming at the younger child to get in the van, which is audible. Because the elder children didn’t want to leave their younger brother’s side, they accompanied him in the vehicle.
Due to a tree obscuring their view, the youngsters were not seen on the Ring camera video.

The kidnapper commits a grave error.
It is terrifying to consider what would have happened to the kids if they hadn’t been saved.
Fortunately for them, she made a terrible mistake that led to the demise of her evil scheme.
At a busy junction where two cops known for their keen observation were operating, the woman disobeyed a red light and caused her presence to draw their attention. After seeing her blow through the red light, the officers pulled her over and questioned her.

They were aware that something was not right.
Officer Parrish and Officer Flannel of the Detroit Police Department were conducting a routine stop when they observed a huge vehicle running a red light while traveling at a high rate of speed.
After pulling the motorist over, they instantly saw that something wasn’t quite right with the situation.
The two policemen had a conversation with the woman and questioned her in an effort to have a better understanding of what was going on.

“Are these your children?”
After pulling the woman stopped, the two cops asked her if the four children in the vehicle were her children, to which she said “yes.”
A opposite response was provided by the children.
The Chief of Police in Detroit, James White, addressed the media at a press conference to discuss the incident.
He stated that the woman had told the officers that they were her children, but the officers spotted the children shaking their heads and saying “no.”
The woman admitted to the police officers that, as she was rushing to get the children to school on time, she had, unfortunately, run a red light.
They questioned her once more about the school that they went to, but she was unable to provide an answer that was satisfactory to them.

Outside of the vehicle, the two officers had the opportunity to question the child who was 11 years old alone. They inquired with the child as to whether or not they were familiar with the lady, and the child replied, ‘no.’
After hearing this, they quickly placed the woman under arrest, and they removed the children from her possession to ensure their safety.
A grateful mother.
Shayla Burleigh, the mother, expressed her gratitude to all of those who helped in the rescue effort in an interview with WXYZ-Channel 7 Detroit.
“I just thank everyone involved that my children are back home safe.”
