A father is facing accusations of ‘child abuse’ after a video resurfaced, showing him carrying his toddler by the jacket.
The clip depicts the frustrated father picking up his two-year-old daughter, treating her like a shopping bag, as she refuses to stand.
The video has ignited a heated debate, with some finding it ‘hilarious and relatable,’ while others condemn it as ‘child abuse.’

While some individuals supported the father’s actions, claiming that “kids are spoilt,” one person went as far as suggesting that he should leave the child in the driveway to contemplate the situation.
In the contentious video, the father is seen unloading bags from the car in the driveway after picking up his child from kindergarten.
However, his young daughter can be observed throwing a tantrum and lying on the ground, refusing to stand up.
Without hesitation, the father, visibly unamused, swiftly takes hold of the girl’s jacket and lifts her up, treating her like one of the shopping bags.
In the video, the father can be seen carrying his daughter in the air as he escorts her into the house.
Surprisingly, the little girl remains calm and does not protest, while her mother, recording from inside, chuckles at the peculiar scene.

At the time of filming, the girl’s mother shared that her daughter always does funny things that bring laughter to their lives.
She explained, “I took this video from home of my boyfriend and our daughter, Juliette. He was getting back from work and her from the kindergarten. She is a little girl who loves to laugh and make other laughs.”
The mother further added, “What’s even funnier is that she is more than 3-feet-tall and over 37 pounds heavy and the jacket didn’t break. She often does stuff like this and this is just how we love her.”
