Dwayne Johnson’s daughters give him a sloppy makeover: “Make me look handsome.”

On Sunday, Dwayne Johnson, also known as ‘The Rock’, posted a video on Instagram in which his two youngest daughters give him a complete makeover. The 50-year-old actor, who stars in the upcoming movie Black Adam and has been in a friendly competition with Zachary Levi from Shazam, displayed his daughters’ makeup talents as they applied pink lipstick to his head and drew on a thin black beard. In the caption, he asked his daughters to make him look handsome. Johnson shares his daughters with his wife Lauren Hashian.

As he sat for the makeover, his seven-year-old daughter Jasmine remarked, ‘What do you mean handsome? You’re a girl,’ and climbed up behind him to apply more bright pink lipstick to his head. Meanwhile, his youngest daughter Tiana worked on his nails and went to another room to fetch more makeup.

The four-year-old child exclaimed, ‘Daddy, I’m gonna go get more makeup tools.’ Johnson, feeling slightly distressed, responded, “No, I don’t need more makeup.” The child returned to the room, shouting that he needed “blenders,” causing Johnson to laugh and shake his head, saying  ‘I don’t need a blender.’

In his social media post, the father-of-three shared a conversation he had with his daughters Jasmine and Tiana about giving him a makeover, but he declined due to a Zoom meeting he had in 10 minutes. However, he eventually agreed, but only for them to do his nails and make him look handsome. He canceled his Zoom meeting because of his new look, but he had to spend an hour trying to scrub off the lipstick from his head and face because he didn’t know it would stain the skin.

Johnson concluded his post by saying that there will come a time when this won’t matter to his daughters anymore, and he’s happy to participate. The comments section was flooded with fun messages, including ones from his A-list friends, actress Nina Dobrev and actor Jason Momoa.

Dwayne Johnson has never been shy about sharing his father-daughter bonding moments on social media, as he also shares a third daughter, Ava Raine, with his ex-wife Dany Garcia. He once shared with PEOPLE that his role as a “girl dad” has allowed him to become “more tender and gentle.”

Johnson mentioned that he and his wife are raising their two younger daughters in an environment and culture that promotes limitless possibilities in life. He also acknowledged that at home, Jasmine and Tiana are passionate and dynamic individuals.

According to the former Sexiest Man Alive, he and his wife Lauren strive to provide their daughters with an upbringing that encourages them to pursue their dreams and aspirations. Johnson believes that they can achieve anything they set their minds to, but he also emphasizes the importance of being open-minded and adaptable in their approach.
