Catherine Zeta-Jones’ daughter is growing up quickly and resembles her famous mom

Growing up in the relentless spotlight that accompanies having two famous Hollywood parents cannot be an easy task. Dylan Michael and Carys Zeta Douglas, the children of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, have certainly had an interesting life, constantly under the watchful eye of the media. The question of whether they would follow in their parents’ illustrious footsteps and pursue careers in showbiz has been a topic of speculation.

Catherine Zeta-Jones herself has been candid about her children’s potential foray into the film industry. In an interview with Hello! Magazine, the 49-year-old actress shared, “When they’re on stage, you want to look at them. And they’re interested in the craft. My son wants to do a Bachelor of Arts in theatre. My daughter wanted to be a pediatrician until she was five when she decided acting was better.”

With both Dylan and Carys setting their sights on following their parents’ path, there is considerable interest in their journey. And Carys, in particular, has been drawing attention for her striking resemblance to her mother as she grows older.

Last year, Carys made her debut at New York Fashion Week, generating significant buzz in the industry. Although she has maintained a relatively low profile since then, which is entirely understandable considering her young age of 15, she recently accompanied her mother to another fashion event, breaking her silence.

Together, Carys and Catherine stole the show at the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda women’s couture event, held at the New York Metropolitan Opera House. Donning matching outfits, the mother-daughter duo posed for several photographs that showcased their remarkable resemblance.
