The “Puppy Love” Budweiser Super Bowl ad from 2014 depicted the friendship and bond that developed between a Labrador Retriever puppy and Clydesdale, who eventually became inseparable. When the puppy was adopted away, he was forced to leave behind his horse friend, who he would frequently sneak over to visit. In the end, the Clydesdales came together and chased the dog down to reunite. But after that, social distance again served as a barrier.
Their most recent ad, “Reunited With Buds,” addresses this issue. đ
It depicts a bar getting ready for business as places start to plan reopening. âWe canât wait to see our buds. But when we do, letâs do it safely,â the final line of the advertisement says.
