Any child finds very exciting to have a new sibling.
While some kids might be a little envious of the attention, most happily accept their role as older guardians.
Other parents may become pregnant as a result of their desire to have a younger brother or sister.
Mikey Marotta had a specific present in mind if Santa were to ask him what he would like.
And no, it’s not a phone, a game console, or a toy vehicle. According to his parents, Mikey would probably request a younger sibling.
In fact, Mikey was so eager to take on the role of the bigger brother that he started making plans for their Halloween costumes months in advance. He constantly “saved” things for his brother if he received anything new or extra.
He even advised his mother to eat buffalo wings at one point since he believed it was how he acquired his ginger hair. He also wants his sibling to have the same hue.
However, becoming pregnant was not simple.
Making Mikey Marotta’s wishes come true was a top priority for Jessica and Michael Marotta. But difficulties with conception slowed down their efforts. The most challenging time came in 2007, when Jessica miscarried a child.

They sit down with Mikey after realizing that their efforts had been ineffective. They told him that it’s totally fine to have a family of three. It’s a heart-to-heart conversation.
Jessica recalled: “When Mikey would ask when he was going to get his baby brother, we would explain he may not get one — that some families only have one child and that is OK. He would tear up and say, ‘That’s OK if I don’t get a human brother; I have Dillinger,’ our dog.”
But in 2017, happiness has come
Jessica discovered that she was pregnant. However, one individual is far happier than both Jessica and Michael. According to Jessica, Mikey “tear up and was quite delighted.” The family had difficulties once more, though.
It was determined that the infant had intrauterine growth limitations. The birth of the child required a C-section. Mikey then passed his time in the NICU.
Jessica used to hold Mikey close to her body when he was little, so she is aware of its potential strength. As a result, Mikey experienced a wide range of feelings when he was permitted to hug his brother.
Mikey would tenderly cradle Jake to his chest. Mikey was more than happy to demonstrate his capacity to be a big brother now that he felt it necessary to do so.
Jessica said that every time her younger son heard Mikey’s voice, he would glance in Mikey’s area and try to find him. The first person who made Jake grin was Mikey.
And Mikey is never reluctant to show his love for Jake, the sweetest present he could possibly get.
