Many of us dream of having timeless beauty – good looks that never seem to fade, skin that remains smooth and supple, and a smile that’s every bit as sprightly as it was in our youth. However, in the grand scheme of things, appearance is far from everything. Growing old with grace is a gift that many of us secretly hope to have.
Of course, it’s virtually impossible to maintain the same glow and vigor we had in our youth. Aging is a natural part of being human, and accepting the bodily transitions we go through as the years roll on is necessary if we’re to live contently.
That being said, there are a select few who manage to defy the hand of time and age gracefully. Barbara Eden is one of those lucky individuals who continue to look incredible regardless of age. Born in 1931 in Tucson, Arizona, she began her career studying voice at San Francisco’s Conservatory of Music. As a teenager, she sang in local bands at nightclubs in Golden Gate City before deciding to pursue acting as well.

Her acting career took off in Los Angeles, and she quickly became a semi-regular on The Johnny Carson Show in 1955. However, it was her role in the famous fantasy sitcom “I Dream of Jeannie” that made her a household name.
Eden has appeared in over 50 movies and, at 91 years old, she’s still working! In 2019, she appeared in the movie “My Adventures with Santa,” playing the role of Mrs. Claus, and starred in the stage production of “Love Letters” as Melissa Gardner.

When asked about her age-defying secrets, Eden attributed her youthful appearance to her careful diet. She said, “I’m a carnivore… I like steak. We eat a lot of pork, chicken, steak, and vegetables.” Additionally, she continues to exercise regularly and maintain an active social life.
Most recently, Eden made an appearance on the red carpet at the Remus Pre-Award Tea Time event at The Beverly Hills Hotel, where she wowed onlookers with her radiant beauty.
