Baby born without limbs was adopted by a woman from Utah over 20 years ago, and today he is thriving

Gabriel Adams, born in Brazil without arms or legs, was abandoned by his biological mother at birth due to fear of not being able to provide him a good life. After spending time in an orphanage, his picture caught the eye of Janelle Adams, a mother of 13 children from Utah, who decided to adopt him into her loving family.

Despite his physical challenges, Gabriel developed a strong sense of independence and does not rely on free rides or preferential treatment. He has been a part of his adoptive family for over 20 years and is thriving.

As Ken Kozole, who works in the wheelchair and seating department, recalls seeing Gabriel rolling down the hallway as a baby, “He thought someone had thrown a football. He went to get it, and there was Gabriel.”
