Often, people tend to judge individuals who continue living with their parents even after turning 18. However, they fail to consider that there might be profound reasons behind such decisions.
One prominent example is Bradley Cooper, a renowned and iconic star of our time, who still resides with his mother. Despite his tremendous success, he has no plans to move away from his previous life.

Cooper has always maintained a close relationship with his parents. His mother, Gloria Campano, played a significant role in his initial exposure to the media as she worked as an NBC affiliate for the local news.
Following in his mother’s footsteps, Cooper worked at the Philadelphia Daily News before securing his breakthrough role in Todd Phillip’s comedy film, The Hangover, in 2009. However, just two years after the movie’s release, he decided to put his career on hold when his family received devastating news about his father’s health.
Charles Cooper was diagnosed with lung cancer and rapidly deteriorated. Cooper devoted himself entirely to helping his father during his final months. Sadly, Charles passed away a mere five months after Cooper moved back in with his parents.

The loss of his father had a profound impact on the entire family, leaving them in a state of emotional devastation. Cooper described the circumstances as “brutal” for everyone involved, and the aftermath of his father’s passing continues to affect them.
Understanding the support his mother needed during this challenging time, Cooper invited her to live with him in his Los Angeles home. These events reinforced the importance of spending quality time with family whenever possible.

However, living together doesn’t come without its complexities. Cooper clarified in an interview that they don’t live in separate quarters; instead, his mother is in the adjacent room. He praised his mother’s resilience, emphasizing that she can “roll with the punches.”
Campano remained by her son’s side throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and due to Cooper’s desire to keep her close, she became his constant companion at significant events he attended.

In 2014, Campano even joined the stars at the Golden Globes, and during the Oscars, Julia Roberts bid her a special goodnight. Campano has become an adored figure, and she even playfully teased her son’s acting skills in a T-Mobile Super Bowl Commercial where they appeared together.
