Jordan’s life was changed by the interview that went viral.

His statements touched hundreds of people, many of whom instantly took action because they were so genuine and heartbreaking.

He responded to the question of where he would visit if given the opportunity to go anyplace around the globe.

“To an adoption party for a home.”

“I would just like to have a family to call mom and dad or just mom or just dad. I don’t really care. […] The reason it’s important is because”

“so I could have some people to talk to anytime I need to.”
“I hope one of y’all pick me.”

Jordan has been residing in a group home, but he naturally longs for the normal life of a kid with parents he can confide in!

However, dozens of individuals contacted in asking to adopt Jordan just half a day after the show aired!

His deepest desires were granted. Literally! Jordan responded simply to the question of what he would like with three wishes:

“To have a family, and family, family. Those are the only wishes I have.”

However, Jordan’s situation isn’t entirely rosy just yet.

Jordan was already interviewed three years prior, although it was in conjunction with his brother Braison. The boys were residing in different foster homes at the time of the interview.

Last year, Braison was adopted separately from his sibling.

The brothers no longer see one other very frequently.

The Oklahoma Department of Human Services wanted to move the boys closer together so that they might at least spend more time together, according to Jordan’s permanent planning worker, Christopher Marlowe.

“His brother’s adoptive family has been agreeable to that and even if things go well, they said they would be willing to take them out on day passes so they could spend some good quality time together.”

Marlowe, though, is optimistic that Jordan will finally find a nice, loving family who will be his home for all eternity.
