Matt agreed to help, and before long, the group commenced their search for the ideal plot of land.
They ultimately decided on a 10-acre lot by the Llano River, where they proceeded to create and construct their retirement vision.
Their retirement settlement would consist of five structures in total: one for each couple and a central communal building where they could socialize with one another.
Every tiny house boasts sufficient space for a queen-sized bed, a loveseat, and a complete bathroom.
The kitchen and laundry amenities are situated in the shared space, featuring a flat-screen TV and a stunning, reclaimed wood dining table where everyone can gather and relish each other’s company.
Furthermore, all four couples are eco-conscious and in admiration of the stunning natural scenery surrounding the Llano River.
Although all couples are retired, some still possess their city residences and utilize their tiny homes as a retreat.
Since some of the tiny houses are unoccupied at times, the group recognized the potential to earn additional income by listing them on Airbnb. They are thrilled that their quaint community can generate extra funds, whether it be rented by individual families or a large group.
Although the name that the community has adopted may seem somewhat grim, all members of the group adore it.
The front gate of this tiny house community bears the name “The Llano Exit Strategy,” a moniker that the friends have affectionately given their residence.
The group of friends has accomplished something that countless individuals aspire to achieve – creating a space where companions can congregate as they grow older and relish each other’s company.
