The popular “Exploring with Nug” YouTube channel is run by Jeremy Sides. Over 350,000 people are already subscribers, and that number is rapidly rising.
The channel specializes on cracking cold cases and recovering people’s misplaced property. In a similar vein, Jeremy Sides was looking for two teenagers who vanished more than 20 years ago.
Erin Foster and Jeremy Bechtel went missing on April 3, 2000. The last time anyone saw the kids, they were driving away from a party in Erin’s 1998 Pontiac Grand Am. They started walking in the direction of their house but never made there.
Since then, the families of the adolescents have been left with questions that have not been satisfactorily answered. But as of recent, it has been altered as a result of a YouTuber by the name of Jeremy Sides.
On his popular YouTube channel, Jeremy Sides, who served in the navy and is now a qualified scuba diver, frequently travels on expeditions to search for lost treasure and, on occasion, for missing persons.
He sought to learn more about what had occurred to Jeremy Bechtel and Erin Foster. In Sparta, Tennessee, Jeremy looked through the Calfkiller River in hopes of finding the missing teenagers.
When dove first noticed the vehicle, he checked the license plate to be sure it was Erin’s 1998 Pontiac Grand Am. He couldn’t see inside because the windows were up. He removed the license plate from the car so he could give the police it as proof.
Jeremy quickly informed the local authorities about his discovery after he was on land, and they immediately set out to investigate. A police officer quickly arrived on the scene and made a call to the station to ascertain whether the number on the license plate belonged to the Fosters. They got immediate confirmation that this was Erin’s automobile.
Experts then removed the car from the river and investigated it to determine what might have gone wrong. Sides thinks that when Erin was turning a corner, she just lost control of the car and it slid into the river.
The families of the teenagers now have answers to the questions they’ve had for a long time about what happened to their children, and they can finally lay their concerns to rest. Both Erin Foster and Jeremy Bechtel’s families have established GoFundMe pages in order to assist the deceased individuals with unexpected costs associated with their funerals.
A case that had been unsolved for several years was brought back to life with the assistance of Jeremy Sides. He utilized his own time and resources in order to set the loved ones of the missing persons’ minds at ease and bring the missing persons home. He is a hero!
