11-year-old applied blue slime to the knife-wielding kidnapper following a watching of “Law & Order”

An 11-year-old girl successfully repelled a man with a knife who had attempted to abduct her by dousing him in dye made from her slime, which later assisted authorities in apprehending him.

The kid believes her understanding that wiping the slime on her attacker would be proof came from her love of the television program “Law & Order: SVU.”

In Pensacola, Florida, on Tuesday morning, Alyssa Bonal was waiting for the school bus when she noticed the man approaching her while brandishing a knife.

The Pensacola News Journal was told by her mother, Amber Bonal: “Her first words were, ‘Somebody tried to kidnap me. He grabbed me by my throat and he had a knife.’ She said she was able to kick and she tripped him and freed herself.”

“She said, ‘Mom, I had to leave some sort of evidence behind, like on Law & Order SVU.’ We’ve watched probably every episode on Hulu. She’s a smart cookie, she thinks on her toes. She got that slime everywhere.”

Not only was Alyssa able to escape from her assailant, but she also managed to trip him up and cover his arms with the blue slime.

On the same day, police detained 30-year-old Jared Paul Stanga based on the evidence they gathered, which included the blue dye that was taken from the slime.

On Tuesday evening, Stanga was arrested and charged with attempted kidnapping, aggravated assault, and violence. On Wednesday, he appeared in court, and the judge decided that his bond should be set at more over $1.5 million.

Amber, who was fighting back tears as she spoke, stated that her daughter does not completely understand how close they were to taking her away.

She said: “I could have lost her forever.”

Surveillance footage revealed that the man pursued Alyssa by attempting to grab her by the neck as she ran away from him.

Alyssa carried out her mother’s instructions to “kick, bite, scream, and yell” in the event that she was grabbed by an unknown person. The response of this courageous 11-year-old girl was enough to cause her aggressor to flee the scene.

This individual should be held accountable since he poses a threat to the general public.
